Pros

Hue lights are a decent upgrade to 'dumb' recessed lights. They fade in and out just like all other hue lights and the brightness and color saturation is top notch. The light looks great overall and it’s brighter than what i expected.

Hue lights integrate seamlessly with apple homekit, alexa as well as google for voice control. All the various lights in the hue system integrate seamlessly through the hue app and alexa. The hue app is great!

The wire nuts are pre-installed, so daisy chaining is easy. Insert, and twist to the right while still pushing up, or clockwise. Spring tension clips securely hold the light in place.

Cons

Not useable with the hub, alexa or any of my other lights. The other four have an e3 adapter and this one does not.

Quality

Excellent lights and the app is great.

I have purchased a number of these lights and am happy with the quality and preformance.

The problem is this led assembly is meant for retrofitted cans and i had a lot of trouble purchasing the right retrofit can.

They fade in and out just like all other hue lights and the brightness and color saturation is top notch.

Price

This thing is worth the money if you have a need or desire to get it… i highly recommend this product.

I guess you get what you pay for these days.

Hue products are expensive, arguably too expensive even.

I bought them off amazon for the return policy, price was the same but free shipping.

Packaging/appearance

On all of the ones i installed it barely reached from the cutout to the ceiling joist where the box was mounted.

Competitiveness

This is definitely the best brand out there and you can't go wrong buying these over the other cheaper manufacturers out there.

Aside from the defective juno brand wafers, these are the only zigbee canless wafers on the market.

Hue might cost more than similar products, but you rarely have any issues.
