Pros

The hue is three times as bright despite being less than half as long. The bulbs perform phenomenally and will go toe to toe with or outclass any others. It is by far one of the brightest in nearly lights of the room on its own.
Philips hue is an award-winning lighting system. The hue app allows users to set custom scenes and custom lighting effects. There are no issues with color matching.
I already have multiple philips products so it was a no brainer for me. It works via bluetooth from the app or from the hub if you have this already setup. The product is fantastic and pairs well with the other philips hue lights that i have.
Cons
This flimsy construction causes the power cord to loosen just enough for the lights to not work. The item was obviously broken before shipping. It wasn't even attached to the strip very well.
The adhesive on the back of these is useless and does not stick. I peeled the sticky stuff and put it behind a floor to ceiling shelving unit. This weakens the adhesive and makes the light uneven since you are changing the angle.

A bit pricey but works so well.
Packaging/appearance
I will gladly pay half price for brand new and perfectly functioning products in worn packaging.
I threw away the box, enjoyed my new lights, and ordered a second set.
I will say that the box that i received was damaged, and it did not look like this damage occurred during the delivery process.
So thank little power box cannot be brought by itself.
Competitiveness
A bit more expensive than similar competitors but worth the extra cost given their reliability and versatility.
This is the reason that i went with hue over the many other options on the market for our under cabinet lighting.

They did fall down in one spot a few days after we put them up but after reapplying cleaning the area they have been solid

What i actually needed to do that is not described in the ikeastyle instructions is to power down then disconnect both sides of the little hue box that drives the light strip

The lights are amazing but in order to get 2 separate colors on at the same time i had to buy 2 separate light systems

There is a space between the lights some people may not like that

Con i couldn’t find where to replace just the adapter and little connection box that connect to the lights
