Pros

The hue go is probably the best bang for your buck. It's super easy to program with the hue app, and it's fun for the kids (and grownups) because they can choose pre-made recipes or make their own using the family ipad.

They are very versatile and, in my opinion, reasonably priced. My only complaint is that of the four lamps i currently have, i’ve ordered ten. A bit steep at 80 dollars.

You got to be really careful plugging the light in because plug in feels like its going to snap.

Cons

The battery is not amazing, the brightness is very lackluster, and the design is abysmal. The battery life falls dramatically over a certain brightness when it’s not plugged into the wall. The internal non repairable battery failed within 2 years.

For some reason, the light just goes offline and can't be used unless i perform a hard reboot. Consistently lose connection with the wall switch, bridge, or the network. Maybe mine is just defective but i can't recommend this light for being a good on... Read More
