Pros

The sync box/light strip is not cheap. If you have cable this is a no brainer. Everything is synced and works incredibly well.

As far as brightness goes it is plenty bright in my opinion.

As far as the seller. Very happy with product. Thank you very much to the seller for listening to me. The product is very good. I know a lot of people pass on the phillips hue line of products.

I do love that it’s an eye catcher for guests. It really adds to the viewing experience. It's a conversation starter for sure. It also does a great job with music and karaoke nights!

Cons

For the price point there still exist some serious gaps that leave me gritting my teeth as a consumer. All the contents were randomly set inside and not original packaging. Seller claims the item is used, like new; product is defective.

Reds are pinkish and more magenta, blues and greens are funky and just not enjoyable. The mounting brackets are a bunch of idiots. The lights lag big time and if you use dolby vision then you're gonna get all kinds of issues but especially with color.... Read More

Expensive but reliable and nice effect with matching colors.

Extremely expensive for what it is, and i often have issues with the sync box registering accurate colors to sync.

Regretting paying so much for such an underwhelming product.

These lights are very pricey for what they are.

Packaging/appearance

The app kept showing me that nothing was connected to the sync box.

Competitiveness

I could've gone with some other brand (or build my own) to get the same effect i was going for.

I recommend checking out the philipshue communities on reddit.

If i could make one suggestion to philips it would be to include a longer power cord.
