Pros
The switch works as advertized, but there are times i just want to turn off one light bulb instead of both. Part of our downstairs area does not have any overhead lights, so we use philips hue white lights on basic ikea floor stands.
The hue button can be setup up to 5 presets (scenes) this is because a second short press (and third and forth) wants to change scenes. This can also be re-programmed in the app.
Great price and great product. Best and most practical purchase i've made in 2022. They all work flawlessly!

This is one of the best smart accessories i've purchased. Will be replacing my previous wifi switches. Have been using v1 switch for 6 or 7 years with zero issues.
Cons
Remotes themselves don't fit into a standard size rocker plate. Hue button doesn't actually change hue, it changes scene. Would not connect to hue bridge and does not show any signs of life.
Highlights
Quality
Build quality feels a little cheap but it works reliably with and without the hub.
I'm really impressed with the hue lights and accessories.
It is possible to make it short press on short press off you just have to play with the settings and it not too intuitive.
But it does work with the home app as written, just fine.
Competitiveness
The wire-free, battery-powered design and ability to mount this switch with either screws or adhesive gives you lots of placement options.
Works like a charm with all my other hue products.
New version: on-top, off-top, hue cycle- bottom, dimmers in middle.

If you want to change up the lighting in your home consider the philips hue lighting system

Id have to buy another one if i want the ease of use or continue talking back to my google nest device hoping it picks up my voice which is still slower than a remote

The old version allowed you to switch between scenes by pressing the on button multiple times and i found myself cycling through light scenes more than i wanted to
