So whist i love these lights im a bit disappointed in the fact that phillips done have a product to rejoin the bits you have cut off

There are other companies that do have extensions for this kit but its not by phillips

I got them installed over 3 cabinets and they turn on when my camera detects motion between 5 and midnight

Im loving being able to set the scene in the evening and also have this linked with the hue motion sensor so during set times these will turn on or off when motion is detected

The adhesive is very very strong but if you have a bit of unit that’s say chipboard above a kettle for example that’s damp don’t expect it to stick to it instead it will rip it off and need a workaround

Slightly on the expensive side however you get what you pay for with phillips hue

I wrapped the strip around my tv and together with the software hue sync app makes it looks great while watching videos or playing games
