Pros
Brilliant brightness and easy to set up. Works with alexa and google assistant. Works as a bedside lamp and as a night light. Great quality andbrightness.
Easy to install and configure with philips hue app. Works with homekit via a philips hue hub (sold separately) good control from hue bluetooth app, dimimg, on/off, even scheduling time off and on. Easy to use hue app and control with alex.
For the cost, it's a wallet burner, but it's never given me any issues, and i'm confident in it just working and lasting over the coming years. Other makes avialable but dont seem as reliable.
Cons
Philips hue bulbs don't work well with alexa or google home. I'm sure with all the tech genuineness these guys can engineer this out. But i have no confidence that a hub would help.
Over-priced and poor performers. Thumbs down for me.
This is a glorified bluetooth lightbulb, and you should value it accordingly. Buy some reliable cheap sockets and cheap led bulbs. This product is not compatible with apple homekit.

Nice product, works very well in my smart home.
Premium quality, easy to set up especially with the philips hue bridge, and definitely worth the money.
Good philips quality as usual no problem with alexa, recommended.
However using the phillips hue light took away the inconvenience, with the added touch of being able change different white colours.

Competitiveness
I have some trouble with my dimmable wall lights .
I use the whole set of this a a few other e27 bulbs with homekit, so i’m able to turn on and off with voice command via my homepod mini.

All you need is to install the bulbs as normal use the alexa app to detect them and you’re all set

The challenge here is that you want all the lights to work as one not turning on x6 lights individually

As an append i installed most of my hue system nearly 10years ago now and all the lamps still work they may be expensive but i’ve been saving energy using leds and have the functionality of hue all this time so maybe they aren’t bad value despite the initial outlay
