The sync box is the real weak link in this equation. Every time the tv is turned on, the sync box prompts all the inputs to turn on. Unless you have a samsung tv and can install the hue app which does the same job as the hdmi box. Returned it. Attempt... Read More

The spectrum of different colors and how fluid/dynamic the product works is incredible!

Once it's all plugged in and you have the app settings the way you like, it's 0 maintenance after that.

It’s gotten worse with time and now it’s been stable only because i made it work and never touch it at all for any reason whatsoever.

Price

I think that's because this light strip is nowhere near as bright as it should be for what it costs.

It’s a bit of a gimmick and pricey.

But it really shouldn't cost what it costs, given the (relatively) low brightness level.

Packaging/appearance

The app kept showing me that nothing was connected to the sync box.

Competitiveness

I recommend checking out the philipshue communities on reddit.

If i could make one suggestion to philips it would be to include a longer power cord.
