Cons

Hue sync is poorly designed and doesn't support modern hdmi standards. The trouble really piles on when you have multiple streaming devices plugged into the sync box that all have cec functions. Tech support is very slow and not helpful.

The philips hue is an overpriced glorified hdmi pass through. It has a glitchy backlight system that doesn't work consistently. Until this is fixed this $230 box is worthless.

When it works, it’s great. Overall this thing just gives me a headache half the time. The 3 time it did work was awesome. Followed all directions to no avail.

Forget about instructions. This box is a nightmare. All of this as a solution is ridiculous.
