Very easy to set up via the hue app it registers onto the hue network and merely dragging it onto living room automatically integrated it with my existing lightssmart switch and it reacts quickly when being told to switch onoff

The light will be permanently on and then you can control it with your hue app or by using the switch

This doesnt help you if you dont have a hue light it wont convert a nonhue light to a smart light
