This bulb is the last filament bulb you'll ever need. While the spiral design of the filament departs from the traditional filament pattern of incandescent bulbs, i find that it is beautifully designed.

I have this bulb installed in the lamp and have set it to automatically turn on each evening. They look great in the 8-light bar fixture i bought for my office. If you need to buy 6 or 8 or 12 of these to put in a large fixture that is big money.

Philips has the market cornered a bit, and that's reflected in the pricing. The only negative is the price.

They give off a nice warm yellow glow (not the bright white led nightmare some bulbs give you) on the dimmer end of the light range, they look great as just a sort of ornamentation. They are a no brainer if you have other hue lights in your home.

Leds are in the shape of an incandescent filament coil, and give off a soft, yellow, warm glow. The glow this bulb produces is a warm amber color just like theincandescent style bulb it replaces.

White isn't white but when making them white they have a green tint coming from the top of the bulb. They look good, work as advertised, but did not last. Count me as another buyer with a dud bulb.

Video is taken while the bulb is completely disconnected from any ecosystem. The lightbulb just blinks when powered on. It has a frequent problem where it flickers, sort of like a candle,when it's at a low brightness level.

On the amazon page it describes it as rated for 200,000+ hours and 20+ year lifespan? What a rip off.

They constantly go offline with alexa and i have to reinstall them. Whenever i am working, the computer shuts off because the cord did not stay all the way plugged in. It is loose and hard to tell that the plug is out.
