Pros
The hue hub and app allow for more ranges of white and soft white. They integrate seamlessly with apple homekit, alexa as well as google for voice control.
These canless lights are the width of the drywall, so it was not an issue at all. The one downfall is - they aren't super bright. The color range is great, and the brightness exceeds that of my previous led bulbs.

Already not very impressed with the 'quality' (potentially used) product that i received.
However i went with the basic room light colors because in the kitchen you would typically just need standard light.
Price
I had to install cans and then these so the cost was twice what i wanted to pay but the outcome was great.
Packaging/appearance
One of the units was missing the e26 adapter pigtail so it couldn't be installed.
Competitiveness
They integrate seamlessly with apple homekit, alexa as well as google for voice control.
Hue might cost more than similar products, but you rarely have any issues.

I had a 18000 lumen shop light before that was obviously overkill but even these 6 hue lights in the brightest setting cant light up my two car garage to my liking and i probably need 24 more
