And on the iphone synchronizing the home kit and the philips hue application took a long time and i had to perform a reset to the hue bridge to finally integrate these apps

Apart from the older firmware on this device draining the battery before it was even sold the product does what i purchased it to do

Make sure the firmware is kept up to date on this device as ive read the battery issue has been resolved for some time now

The smart button lets you program 5 different scenes so that you can cycle through them with just the button

You can also use the doublesided tape to stick the button anywhere else which is what weve done for double or triple switch locations replacing the old plate with a flat cover and then sticking the 2 or 3 buttons on it you can actually double up buttons putting 2 on a standard plate 4 on a double and so onthe only weakness is that the included wall plates magnets are somewhat weak so it is possible to accidentally knock the button off the switch
