I didn't realize this with the first one i bought, but via the hue app you can program the on button to do multiple scenes as you click on.

Battery life is pretty amazing, i don't think i've replaced my original switch's battery yet.

Definitely easier than having to pull out your phone and quieter than asking alexa to adjust the lights!
