They are fun and the color rendering and cct is decent. Hue also sells a wall switch that some people might like more if they are accustomed to switches.

Hue lights are awesome, especially when you pair them with the google assistant or amazon alexa. The app is simple and works perfect! The colors are great and react with the app or my home mini with no problem.

Make sure that you have an open ethernet port on your modem or router.

Cons

It does not automatically reconnect if the router reboots or loses signal. Anytime i have the ethernet cables connected to my wifi router, the whole wifi slows down and that's no bueno.
