Great bulb very expensive if you want to afford the bulb it works well with or without the hue hub
However the budget hole is not small if you need more than one.

If you have something like home assistant you may be better off with a cheaper brand and just link them to home assistant.

The brightness does drop somewhat when using colours or going into the more extreme warm light settings a slight warmth seems to be fine but its still brighter than previous incarnations

As usual hue products are always overpriced which is why it loses a point but they admittedly have the advantage of accessories like switches and dimmers and these can be life savers if your internet goes down

So far none of my 5 years old hue bulbs broke so at least that
