With perseverance these things are very cool. Looks classy. Hue bulbs seem expensive until you take the plunge and relish their beauty.
Cons
The bad - amazon information claims this bulb is 10 watt, 806 lumen, 4000 kelvin. When brightness set low it fluctuates a lot which is annoying. This bulb has an irregular flicker which is especially noticeable at lower brightness.

Have now added lights and a hue bridge all working well with the bridge after a few false starts but unable to connect to alexa this seems to be an alexa fault not huebasic button controls without the bridge are pressonoff holdadjust brightnesswould recommend iyoki light switch covers to house the button and prevent accidentally switching the smart bulb off

I only have the dot version of echo and because it doesnt have the hub in it i cannot connect lights via wifi

These bulbs are great and long lasting you can turn them up from low to high voice activated dimmer from alexa intergrated phillips hue

The software is infuriating at times and smart homes can be hard if people in your household are not tech savvy as smart should be read as automated which does not fit with the simplicity of pushing a wall switch and the light comes on
