Worked ok at first, then kept dropping connection to bluetooth. Two year warranty but philips make you wait for a week of going round in circles the when they see the evidence and proof of purchase say you have to wait weeks.
Bulb is very yellow, definitely not 'white' it keeps disconnecting and seems very faulty. They work manually but dimming function not available. I have a houseful of hue bulbs working on alexa and this is the fist that hasn't worked.
To say i am disappointed is an understatement as these bulbs are not cheap. Not the performance i expected from such a trusted brand. Will be swapping for a more reliable brand.

Things have move on since i purchased my first bulbs and hub i understand now there are other makes of bulb that do not require the hub

Purchased as a bedroom light i found their use in the evening to be a bit limited for two reasons they dont go as dim as their fullcolour counterparts and the temperature could be a bit warmer

However the reliability when using bluetooth mode is frankly awful

They want to lose connection and then will never reconnect even after a power cycle

Worse yet the firmware some bulbs ship with require a hub to reset the bulb so if your bluetooth is causing major issues and you dont have a hub youre screwed
