Cons

The design is a bit ridiculous as they have a pen pot at the base which is too shallow. Basically hardly used, a poor product from philips.

Sturdy and different colour temperature suitable for my different needs

At first had to solder wires around the switch due to a terrible built quality but after that it failed again elsewhere.

It is actually two lights; the directed activity light and one at the rear to provide diffuse light, reducing eyestrain and tiredness.

Price

Excellent value for the money i spent i am delighted with this lamp.

In all a total good product for the price.

£183 at the time of writing is a crazy amount of money to pay for a lamp.

So you can understand why i don't feel the asking price is ridiculously high.

Packaging/appearance

A good product, in a no-nonsense packaging, i bought it as a reading light, soon to realise it is as big as the table lamp, but...  Read More

Finally, the item is pretty small and could be packed away for holidays at a push.

This lamp is feature packed and does look quite nice, but it definitely doesn't look like a luxury lamp to have that asking price.

The product could have being wonderful if it would have had a presence sensor and ability to fadein when turning on

Funny bit is that it has a fadeout when you turn it off

Another design flaw is that i did not see any cover for the usbc charge port and if you use it in a bathroom i expect that it might stop working after a while

Unlike similar lights it has lots of small leds in the panel making the light wider in terms of angles

The only downside is the price which is worth around 10 times as other similar lights and the size it seems a bit too big to be mobilised around the house

It isnt a point source like a torch but more like a ceiling lamp
