There is a small philips head screw concealed under the badge sticker

Once unscrewed the mechanism can be entirely removed from the cable be careful as it will suddenly spring apart

Tried it with a couple of phone calls and absolutely crystal clear from both sides of the conversation

Obviously your voice is slightly louder because of more volume and it being live so to speak as opposed to the callers voice that is coming from a small speaker in the phone earpiece

This will prove to be very handy for recording phone calls from organisations who may deny something that they had said during a phone conversation at a later date
