Pros & Cons
Pros
The highest speed on this shaver is the highest i have ever experienced on a rotary shaver. With repeated passes it shaves close enough.
Yes, it's overpriced, but it's also the best shaver i've ever used. If it lasts like the last 3 which i have no reason to believe it will not then we are looking at the purchase price divided over 11 years and that is pretty cheap.
Dry shave is superb and takes allot less time. Wet shave also is much swifter and gives just as good of a result. Yes, you have to go over the stubborn patches a couple of times.
The case works well if you leave the charger out. I wish you could use it while it’s charging because i know for a fact lithium ion batteries always go bad. I get an astonishingly close shave, and the battery lasts for what seems like months when i sh... Read More
Cons
Hand held unit started to make a wobbling noise and red exclamation mark is intermittent. The cord would simply not stay plugged in! It is flimsy and gets disconnected very easily. If a $300-worth shaver has such a lousy cord when it's brand new, it's... Read More

Super close shave, zero irritation and the charge looks like it’s going to last at least month.
It is well built, easy to use, and the battery lasts a long time.
This razor provides a smooth as silk shave, doesn’t pull or pinch plus the battery has a long life, it simply doesn’t get any b... Read More
I've had at least five models over the past 20 years and despite using lift n cut blades, the shaves were never terribly close.

The old adage stands: you pay for what you get.
It may be a bit pricey, but it was worth it to me.
I shuddered at the price, but i have to say it was worth it.
Shipping
Fastest delivery ever and my husband loves it!
Packaging/appearance
It comes with a nice carrying case.
Competitiveness
Way better than the other norelco series i had.
I took a chance on this s9000 prestige with the wireless charger during a sale at best buy about three years ago.
S: don't bother with lower end electric shavers of any brand.
To be honest the 9000 series was the worse norelco shave ever, it lasted with me as long as it did because i kept trying other ... Read More
