This is no cheap plastic trimmer like so many i've had. It is a very good trimming tool for my scruffy beard. With the comb on, the depth is adjustable by simply turning the dial right above the on/off switch.

The charging cradle is exceptionally convenient. It holds it's charge well and cleans up easily. The charging stand is stylish, if that is important to you.

The philips norelco styleshaver is a multi-tasker grooming tool. The styling par does an amazing job making lines.

Cons

What a bummer. The disappointment is big. Please don't encourage philips by buying this product.

The guard is so finicky and badly designed that you have to get a perfect angle to make any cut. The charger is a flimsy dock, easily falls over when upright. Trimmer is much better than razor.

So when you remove the guard you can rotate the head 180 degrees and gain more precision for sideburn trimming and shaping.
