Pros

i use this to trim my beard and mustache and it's pretty good. Comes with three heads and more than a dozen attachments (i only use a couple). It functions the same and i am happy with it for beard trimming and a monthly haircut my wife can do on me. ... Read More

It's cordless with a lithium ion battery which means long-life and excellent up-time. Main difference on the new one is that it now charges on a usb plug vs an ac adapter. Plenty of power.

This phillips/norelco trimmer works great. This does the trick. Make sure to dry it thoroughly.

Good sharpness in the first use and the quality overall seems to be great.

Cons

Worked at full battery strength for about 6 months. Half power/speed for remainder of short lived life. The upgraded version probably has the same problem.

The multigroom series 5000 shaver doesn't come with a charger. All you get is a cord with usb-a on one end and the proprietary philips plug that goes into the shaver on the other end. It's not a usb-c, it's some proprietary nonsense connection.
