Pros & Cons
Pros
Timer signal works fine (every 30 seconds), although i would like its change-in-vibration signal to be a little more prominent. Wife likes the softer brush heads, though i think that just has to do with longer bristles. The toothbrush is lightweight a... Read More
Cons
This toothbrush has perhaps 1/20 of the power of a regular sonicare toothbrush. It vibrates but does nothing to massage your gums. The vibration is all in the handle & not the bristles.
After 2 minutes it shuts down, and then i used it as a manual toothbrush. Now, it seems as though the power button is shorted out or something. Phillips says no warranty is offered and that the claim should be made with amazon.
Piece of junk. Don’t waste your money. It only lasts for 2 month and cost $25. Not the same at all.
Highlights
Quality
This brush works great and the brushes feel really good.
Great brush head and perfect speed for cleaning well.
This one was used every day for 30 days straight and the battery still wasn't cashed out.
Only had it a month so can't attest to battery life but over the past month it doesn't seem to be loosing any power so that's a positive.
Price
Good value coming with two extra brush heads.
Love the colors as well and pretty affordable.
The price point is perfect for senior citizen budgets.
Much cheaper than at my local walgreens.
Competitiveness
Brush head replacements are also much easier to find than other brands
Recently, i tried this philips sonicare battery toothbrush in miami coral and was pleasantly surprised.
I'm going to try some off-brand replacement heads in the hopes that they're stiffer.
I have been using a cheap offbrand electric brush that's a copy of the high end philips and this is only slightly weaker than that one.
