Pros
It is very durable and powerful, and does all the hard work for you. Works very well when used as instructed. Instructions are simple and easy to follow.
The only downfall of this machine is the size and weight. If you like homemade pasta this is the machine to buy. The phillips pasta machine is amazing.
For this model you drop your flour in and voila, it tells you how much liquid you need. And lastly, run your machine then add liquid or else.
Dough acts like glue when you take parts apart for cleaning. It mixes up the dough and pushes out fresh pasta!
Cons
The machine turns out not to be as easy to clean as i thought, with the knobs at the front being a huge pain. The extruder discs, like with all pasta makers, are pain to clean also. It's so incredibly frustrating.
The pasta machine has an odd blend of measurement units. The recipes in the book are in grams. You are supposed to add flour, close the lid, then wait the machine telling you how much water to add.

After i bought it from amazon the price went down another $30.
I also find the price a little high but its a high quality product.

If i were to make a suggestion however it would be for the manufacturer to produce discs that allow for thinner strands of pappardelle and fettuccine in addition to the ones that come with machine ones you could buy separately if required according to personal taste
