Less than 8 months after purchasing this iron the steam is all but non existent. Just after 2 year warranty the unit is defective again. I am in the process of speaking to philips and am waiting for a reply.

Best steam generator i have owned, lovely and smooth to hold and use.
The iron is so light and smooth to use very good purchase well happy with it
It is lightweight, well showed for difficult parts of clothes and a very generous water tank.
Forget the traditional iron and invest in the steam generator model!
Price
Worth the monies spent whatever price you purchase it at , you won’t be disappointed.
Also if you grab it whilst discounted then it’s a complete bargain .
It cost more than a conventional iron but worth it if have lots of ironing to do.

So for the price, which is obviously not cheap but cheaper than other comparable brands i would 100% recommend this iron.

We were fed up of having a cable interfering with the ironing and could only use specific locations in the house
