Pros
All in all it cuts nice and smooth and i'm very picky with items.
Beard trimmer works well. Ear and nose clipper attaches well. Not the same as a manual blade razor but close.
Cons
The 7000 series has been downgraded to a plastic handle. The appliance is not ergonomically suitable. What is kinda disgusting is that it puts hairs out for an incredibly painful trim.
Highlights

The kit took a bit of understanding but once i had got to grips with everything went along smoothly and easily

Ignore the 1 star reviews from people who returned the product for being too easy to press the on/off button.
Price
It's a bit pricey, even with the supposed discount to #50.
Not the cheapest but imo worth every penny.
Competitiveness
I have tried many brands over the years, including braun, but i always find that philips is the best.
I have tried many different shaver and trimmers in the past and this is the best.
Overall it's smooth, powerful but yet super quiet compared to other brands i've used.
Before this, i had another philips 5000 that lasted for 5 years.

Only drawbacks in my opinion is the soft action power switch was easy to catch when using so trimmer kept stopping when in use

So up to now im happy but the reason i have not given it 5 stars is that ive only had it 2 months and as is the case with all these kind of devices its not just whether they work well but whether they continue to for a reasonable amount of time
