I do note that the shaver comes with a protective plastic film over the display and its not obvious that this should be removed no tab to lift it is provided

Decided to get a new one because its been more than 10 years this new model is clearly designed to cost you money over the long term

Downside is the stand is huge why couldnt philips do a little stand for everyday use and most annoyingly to clean it you have to use the stand with cleaning cartridges that require replacement or rinse and shake numerous times

Unlike the older models you cant flip open the heads and rinse its deliberately designed to need the cleaning stand

I bought this to replace my old rq12xx that although was still working well i couldnt get replacement heads for unfortunately
