Pros
The bass is extremely good, but it does sound a bit muddy in flat equalization at higher volumes. The bass on flat eq is much punchier than the treble and highs. Comfotable and well built.
Noise cancellation is good but not phenomenal, but hey, it’s $50. These headphones sound better than the bose $400 noise cancelling ones that stopped functioning after 3 months. The sound is satisfactory.
They are comfy enough to listen to for long periods of time. The sound quality is much better than the headphones than theyare replacing.

Headphone muffs themselves feel more on the side of styrofoam than anything soft. Due to the hardness of the *, it decreases comfort greatly. Scratchy, distorted sound quality.
The wires are not much bigger than cat's whiskers and cannot be re-soldered back in place. They’re also very deceptive looking, the “cushion’ is solid and feels pretty terrible. There is no documentation online saying how these headphones assemble.

That really makes it hard for me to like or recommend these, since relying audio signals clearly is the #1 job for a pair of headphones.
I think this is likely due to the closed back design, but i’ve never heard such a muffled closed back headphone before.
Price
These are a good set of headphones, great for the price
Overall though i’d still give 4/5 simply for the price, high build quality, and okay audio quality.
If you’re looking for the best price to audio quality headphones, then i wouldn’t recommend these.
I was hoping that these things would punch above their price range, but i’d say that these are worth $40, and not a dollar more.
Competitiveness
I already have a pair of old sony mdr-cd280 (cheapos), and an old pair of sennheiser hd-580 (not so cheap).
Sound profile from low to high is different than my cheap sony phones.
If you need a pair of cheap headphones that sound better than airpods, and are built well, then this pair would be acceptable.

There’s nothing wrong with the build quality if anything it’s more than i expected but headphones are for listening to audio which i don’t enjoy doing with these

First the ear cups are not the most comfortable they’re shaped odd and my small ear barely fits in

I’ve heard other say this has a neutral sound stage but to me it sounds overly bass heavy and the mids and highs are drowned out as a result
