Pros & Cons
Pros
Large and open ear cups give these headphones a spacious soundstage. Bass, mids, and treble are well balanced. Bass is not too punchy or overwhelming.
Buy this and a v-moda boom mic pro. Wireless is all the hotness, but wired is still faster and more reliable. A dac gives these a great boost if you don't pay for a premium streaming service. It's well worth the travel annoyance to have a quality head... Read More
Closed-back, perfect sound and noise cancellation.
The shp9500 are incredibly comfortable and have a sturdy yet lightweight build that feels durable. The 9600 is the most recent addition. The sh9500 brings out the fine details better, and separates instruments better (aka sound stage) when you adjust ... Read More
Great introduction into the audiophile realm. Sound quality is clear, crisp and dynamic. And lastly, reviews and rtings.
Cons

Highlights
Quality
The best open back headset i used for years
I would recommend these over any gaming headset
The sound was sooo low, about half volume of my boneless conduction headset.
However, they only do that after i purchased a dac to amplify the signal to the headset.
Competitiveness
Look into getting some replacement ear cups (less than $20 most places) and these will go head to head with any consumer open backs.
