Still a great toothbrush.

Only complaint is that it's a little noisier than the previous models i've owned from sonicare. Got a replacement with little hassle. If this one lasts even half as long, it is still a good value.

I think that sonicare's quality control has gone way downhill. Yet i see that it for some reason has spectacular, glowing reviews? Some of them are so obviously fake. If it lasts 18 moths i'll be happy, it costs 1/4th as much.

This is a joke. This thing is priced only slightly cheaper than the older, much much better units. Pony up and buy the higher end model from costco or something. It is rather expensive in view of its limited capabilities.

Sonicare hx6212 has a weaker motor that is noticeably weaker. It rattles and doesn't seem as solid as regular sonicare brushes. Noise ruins a great brush.

The sound level is somewhere between a phone ringtone and an alarm clock. The vibration is intense enough that two of the people i gave one to wont use it. When i turn it on, it no longer vibrates, but instead emits this high pitched ringing noise.
