Cons
The shaft that the head attaches to has become loose so it now does not operate correctly. This is the 3rd one that this has happened to over thevyears. There’s a thick booklet but no instructions. Will likely never buy a philips toothbrush again.

A good piece of kit, but you need to not switch it on with the toothpaste until it is in your mouth or the paste will fly off.
The battery lasts quite long and doesn’t require charging every couple day.
Price
Still expensive at half-price but great quality & does the job impeccably
Bought it during the prime days for a very good price to replace an older oral-b brush.
Wait for a black friday sale or similar event to get them at a good price.

Competitiveness
I have tried other electric toothbrushes, but this one is much better than any of them.
I have tried loads of electric toothbrushes and philips are the best by a long way.
But the feeling of clean they give you is miles better than the round head competitors.
I have used sonicare toothbrushes previously but bought a rival product recently which didn't suit me at all.

You can use the browser extension camelcamelcamel to to track prices and alert you when the price drops to your target

The light to change the brush comes on and it feels like you change the heads a bit to often my advice is to change it when it says to as you really notice the difference in cleanliness
