Pros & Cons
Pros
It certainly takes a little practise to perfect, but cleans my gums really nice. The different brush settings are now genuinely useful. The sonicare is the best toothbrush for cleaning your teeth without shredding your gums.
The difference in the three pluse settings is noticeable. I use it twice a day and it lasts about 10 days. Long battery life, around 212 weeks, finally, spares are plentiful.
Cons
The £150 phillips sonicare toothbrush has lasted the shortest time of any electric toothbrush i have owned. The silver bar that sticks out the top to connect with the toothbrush bit becomes wobbly. Brushing records dissapear and bluetooth often sticks... Read More
Gutted to say the least. They are abysmal! That's just not good enough. Avoid wasting your money on a product that is plainly not fit for purpose.
This suggests to me that there is a common issue and a sticker is the solution philips has chosen rather than fixing the device. It’s a shame that at this rather premium price point the device isn’t more sturdy or easier to repair.
Amazon repair service is rubbish though. Second time i've tried to use their warranty and the second time it's been awful. Amazon and philips have a joint responsibility here. Don't buy from amazon.
