It holds its charge and cleans much better than other electric brushes on the market.
It's like the difference between the flintstone's foot powered car and a ferrari.
This my second sonic toothbrush and comparing the two, this one is not a good.
There is more agitation and cleaning action with the phillips that the oral b could not compare with.

Mine does take a long time to charge fully but then i just use it until it needs recharging 3 months later

When the battery is about dead the last light will turn yellow and that is when i charge it up
