Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons

Pros

The phillips sonicare toothbrush is a good value for the money. The toothbrush does a good job of cleaning your teeth and gums. This helps your gums and teeth like nothing else, more so if you use a waterpik.

This is a good option if you do not have a need for the more expensive version. Battery seems to last 12-14 days on an overnight charge, so 1 week of travel without the charger is fine, but 2 weeks is a bit iffy.

Cons

First two calls to fedex produced nothing. Failed means it would barely hold a charge overnight. It sits on the charger and repeatedly buzzes(1 long buzz, 2 short buzzes) for hours. Just don't buy the battery operated model.

I guess i was lucky it happened while under warranty. Returned to amazon.

The cost of dental work, which no dental insurance truly covers, makes this a smart investment.

Then i found this one - and not for $100+.

What does bother me is that apparently the newer models don't have the battery life of the older models like this one yet they ...  Read More

Make it affordable and stop with the $239 for a thing you also sell for $40!

Competitiveness

I still use the real thing, and the very pricey soniccare brush heads.
