Pros & Cons
Pros
The sonicare has a larger reservoir and lasts even longer than the waterpik. There is an on/off button and a power dial on the main unit that controls how hard the water stream comes out. On/off water button on the handle is so great to help ensure wa... Read More
When you close the lid, it holds the water tank in place. The water tank reservoir is quite sturdy as well.
The pressure is easy to change with the dial where it is mechanically set. Pressure is easily adjustable to suit the comfort level of the user. The pause switch on the wand is a great feature.
This power flosser is much more manageable than classic flossing. Reaches places where floss won't. It really excels on people with braces.
Deep clean mode (deep clean mode) sets a good rhythm for progressing through teeth. This goes beyond what a toothbrush can do. It cleans between teeth so well it feels like you just came from the dentist.
Cons
The flosser stops when it makes contact with tooth or gum. Made in indonisia. Sorry to say it’s been unreliable- intermittent fails to start.
Highlights
Quality
The best water pick and very quite.
This phillips brand is perfect, very strong pressure, gives me a good cleaning.
It worked perfectly for 9 months, then intermittently until it died.
One good thing; when you turn it off, the water stops draining through the tip (the water kept flowing in the unit from waterpik).
Price
Gave this four rather than five stars because so expensive.
It’s a bit expensive but it’s worth it.
Cost more than i wanted to spend but the noise level is worth it!
Shipping
We were told by customer service we had a three year warranty and they shipped out a replacement unit.
Competitiveness
I like the design better than other brands and it’s super easy to easy.
This phillips is better than the 3 year old waterpik wp-660 that it replaced.
I have no experience with any other water flossers so can’t compare to other brands.
Unless you require the highest level of the waterpik, which is slightly stronger than the highest level of the phillips, you sh... Read More
