Pros

The 4100 is a little slimmer (see photo) than my previous e-series model (nice, especially when travelling! This toothbrush does what it is supposed to do and does it well. Philips backs each toothbrush for 2 years. Thanks for standing by your product... Read More

The more expensive ones have fancier brushes but its the same tool. It tells me when to switch to a new quadrant of teeth, and i love that too. I always get good brushing remarks at dental checkups.

Cons

It is so weak in it's vibration that the slightest pressure against the gums stops the vibration entirely. When this happens, the toothbrush becomes very loud when brushing your teeth. They get more money the more damage i do to my teeth and gums.

Update: the replacement arrived in just a few days, and that’s where the good news ends.

It arrived with a partial charge so after an initial test use, we plugged it in for over 4 hours to get it fully charged.

Competitiveness

I have taken this to a dozen countries and i can charge it anywhere because of the auto current feature of usb blocks.

I’ve had similar sonicare toothbrushes for years and have always been pleased with them.

I was guided to this one by amazon’s reorder site, but find it is a step down among the sonicare models i bought from amazon before.
