The brush head holding tray is removable allowing one to clean it every so often. I usually just rinse the brush heads after each use but this is a great idea! The brush heads fit inside perfectly.

It's still helpful if you have certain conditions such as periodontal disease or recent * surgery. Leave your toothbrush uncovered to protect it from airborne elements.
