The tape quality is good and sticks well, but not super tightly due to curling. From a quality standpoint, it seems to be well made. It feels cheap, but it works as advertised.
It sparks creativity and adds a personal touch to labeling. I no longer have to frantically open up each lid to look inside. I'd suggest using both labelling technologies!
Cons
The design of this device is very poor, and i would not recommend buying this item at the $32 price point. The whole device feels fragile you can clearly feels they used some brittle plastic. There must be better options especially for the $$$.
The letters are so hard to get evenly apart, let alone them being lopsided and such. The picture in my review was taken fro a few inches away. The emboss is flimsy and not clear.

The machine comes with what seems to me like a lot of tape and in a whole bunch of colours too so you should be able to get an awful lot of stuff labelled before you need to buy some refills unless you only want one colour for everything
