Cons
The pages are not perforated. Some letters are faded and others are dark like they were bold when they were not. Claims that thermal paper/no ink is more environmentally friendly than ink plus regular paper are not so sure.
It comes with a usb cable but not a plug. It only prints wirelessly via the app. I guess if you are in a pinch it might be helpful to have this portable printer.

While it could be better, it excels where laser printers fall short.
Price
While it requires a usb-c connection for pc use and the thermal paper can be pricey, the convenience and functionality make it worth it.
At this price point, if there had not been a wireless feature available, i would have to wonder why.
I will make use of this device, but at a substantial overall cost to me of both time and investment in the future.

Compared to other thermal printers for a4 paper this one is excellent.

As a standalone printer it does make a bit of noise but no more than any other printer i've work with.

With the other ones i have tried they do not hold roll of paper inside so you must always have to lug around sheets of paper with you plus try not to get the paper damaged etc

Also thermal printers can be difficult to load the paper and with this one you do not need to as the roll is already inside

But if you are new to this item and want to get one for first time all you need to do is download the phomemo app its free and downloads in no time

There are two little buttons on the front of the printer on each end you can press one of them at a time or both same time to pop the printer open and to close the lid again just push down

However there are some drawbacks the thermal paper is expensive there are occasional print quality issues it is limited to monochrome and the manual paper tearing can affect the appearance

Connecting and printing from the ios app was a breeze but printing from my imac was a little bit of a challenge after i downloaded the drivers from the phomemo website
