Pros

It's not particularly powerful, but it does the job of printing labels with relatively little fuss. The printing is fast. It prints entire label sheets faster than most other printers simply feed the paper.

This is worth it even if you only use it for one wedding of 200 invited guests. Besides functionality, i love that it's cute, small and turquoise. This little printer is pretty decent for the price point.

Shipping label creator is seamless and absolutely flawless. Font on labels is crisp, doesn't have fuzzy edges or that smudged look.

I have a number of their thermal printers and this one has performed excellently. The only drawback about this thermal printer which i realized in retrospect after ordering it, is that it is not wireless.

This is a great value that saves us so much time and money!

I have no complaints thus far, i do recommend spending the 10 bucks or so on one of those label holders that sits behind the printer.

I do wish that it connected wirelessly, but for this price, i don't mind the usb-only connection.

Item comes in an unmarked box, so may not be great for gifting.

There were a lot of fiddly bits in the package but overall it's got a pretty small footprint.

Competitiveness

I have another thermal printer from another company, and this phomemo is just as fast, and the print quality seems better.

I also have the 241-bt, which is very similar to this b246d.

And the types of labels available out there are much more diverse than the boring stuff the big-name label makers restrict you to.

They have a lot of models that are very similar in price, features, and model #s, so it's hard to know what the differences are.
