After placing the lid on the cooker body matching the correct position, push down 4 to 5 times to release air from the inside through the nozzle. The only problem comes in closing the pressure-cooker lid.

Buy a regular branded pressure cooker and handi separately rather than this useless combo. Coating substance when leaked are carcinogenic. Tried changing the rubber and cleaning the pores.

This is totally avoidable. It's very inconvenient and irritating. Highly injurious to heath.

Specially the pressure cooker handle is poorly made. Doesn't fit easily,prone to getting jammed in the grooves and very difficult to handle when hot. Cooker lid is not strong enough and plastic handles quality is very poor.
