Pros

The explorer is a great starter pen. The pink is very pretty and jewel toned. I currently have it loaded with sailor yuki-akari as seen in the pictures.

Clean and sober gal is back with her fountain pen flashing. S nos german reform writes well like this pilot. It writes as smoothly as if i were writing on glass.

A large pilot cartridge comes with the pen. It also comes with a converter, the con b bulb squeeze—isn't the greatest. There is a trick to loading that converter with ink, you need a quick, snappy push.

It's very lightweight and wonderful for people like me who have wrist problems. The con-70 adds some weight, that makes it more light weight, but metal would be preferable.

I have several fountain pens of name brands and have to say this has been the smoothest to write with. I have it in the f and m nibs, both write smooth as butter.

Cons

The snap-on top barely stays on the plastic body. It pops off easily and i've found the pen loose in my shirt, staining it. It is a design flaw, and i hope it gets fixed. Still feels fragile.

Quality

Very fast delivery, she loves the blue color, very happy with this product.

The price point is perfect and it’s a bargain for the quality.

A pen that doesn't clog with thick, shimmering, low quality ink is an impressive morsel.

I already had a metropolitan with fine nib i was very pleased with.

Competitiveness

By one of the new lady’s we work with and are job wouldn’t do anything about it.

Pilot's iroshizuku kon-peki (cerulean blue) ink is a fantastic shade of blue.

Aside from this one, i have two twsbi ecos ($32), a lamy safari($35), and a platinum procyon ($64).

I have a lamy boxiti and waterman from same price range.
