Pros & Cons
Pros
The limited premium version is very cool and is the best of all the different premium pens i've tried as well. I have several of these pens, along with a couple of metropolitan models, and they're all great pens. Would buy again.
G2 gel roller is my favorite ink, especially the bold-10 refill which rivals my fountain pen line. Any g2 refill works so if you have a preference other than. The ink is great.
The grip and thickness is so comfortable and it glides! This metal one has a nice heft to it. The grip is a little softer than the plastic barrels, which is nice.
This is my writing & signature pen because of the brushed barrel and fancy grip. The pen's pocket clip has just the right tension - it easily slides on and off my shirt pocket without slipping sideways or out of my pocket.
Cons
The ink dries slowly and smudges horribly. If you force it, the eventually brakes the cartridge and leaks everywhere.
After about a week of carrying the pen, the button sticks and no longer deploys properly. When holding it seems to shift and make popping noises from the comfort grip area.
Highlights
Quality
The pilot g2 gel ink is the best; very smooth, easy, does not skip or bleed through, dries quickly.
This pen feels wonderful in the hand and effortlessly glides across the paper.
The quality of this writing tool didn't seem to smear as well.
The rubber grip has dead space between it and the metal liner that holds the refill.
Price
I’ve been buying pens for so long in the price range of $15-75 looking for the perfect one.
Get it now while it's on sale!
This one looks elevated without a ridiculous price tag.
The pen is a great price for what it is.
Competitiveness
I think they are the best writing among all the very many competitors in the low-cost pen market.
G2 gel roller is my favorite ink, especially the bold-10 refill which rivals my fountain pen line.
Even the zebra g-450 and 750 have this same plastic connector, which is where it will break if you drop it.
I have more expensive pens with same type of style points which i use for special occasions.
