Cons
The con-40 convertor fits is too small and disappears inside the barrel. It is too wide to fit the barrel and not sure what it is used for. I now fill it with a syringe because the pump mechanism is no longer functional.

Fantastic ink capacity and i think it's the largest capacity ink converter i've seen to date (~10 pens deep).
Worked great and holds a lot more ink than other piston converters.
Have a blunt syringe at hand and just force water through the central rod!
Pilot's largest capacity converter and one of the largest for any founatin pen.

Good price and swift delivery as usual.
Competitiveness
If you use a lot of ink i would recommend this over pilot's other converters if your pen is compatible.
I don't understand why a company that can make this also makes something as unfortunate as the con40.

It takes some practice to use as it needs fast and somewhat decisive pumping of the little button at the top to get ink into it

The one that i had received have a very stubborn spring meaning i had to use a lot of force to press the button

Other than that though i love the capacity of the converter as one filling could last me about a month while the con40 converter could last maybe 23 weeks i use the pen quite a lot so using it for a month without refilling is amazing
