These are the best pens on the market, hands down. Refills are easily available. While i do order replacement ink cartridges i still have to order new pens as these are popular with my friends & coworkers.
Pilot precise v5 rt has a 05mm tip and lays it's ink down better than the g-2 07 which sometimes puts out too much ink and gets sloppy. I also use it in regular note books, scribbles that matter bullet journals and leuchtturm paper. Only issue i have ... Read More
Cons
In the last couple of years, it seems as though quality control has gotten worse and sometimes i'll get a dud that doesn't work properly. Save yourself the money and go to staples. Will go back to office depot and buy them there.
I'm torn between liking and disliking this pen. My pens need to be black, indelible, reliable, fine tipped and write smoothly.
Ink leaks out sporadically, ruining my shirt. They are scratchy and very faded. I doubt the stain comes out.

All i have had to do is buy refills and even they last a long time.

So far my fave inexpensive, quality fine point!
It’s overall about as perfect as a pin can get for the price.
Less than four dollars for two of them!
Ink refills for this pen aren't very expensive for a 12 pack of them, so i'm happy with it.
