Built a 4 square base out of 4x4 posts and bore a hold in the center member so that with some force the aluminum tubing would fit into the 4x4 down to within 14 of the bottom of the post

Unfortunately i did the pointing by going outside the travel trailer with the wife inside and twisted the mast in the base until it was properly pointed

So i either wired the unit incorrectly causing the power panning function to not operate or there was a problem with the unit

I worked with a customer service agent named bill and i must tell you bill went way above and beyond in explaining our stepbystep approach to resolving the problem to even include a number of detailed photos to be absolutely certain i had the wiring done correctly

Soon this technical approach to resolving the issue was narrowed down to the antenna motor bolster and within 15 minutes of our reaching this conclusion he responded that a new unit was on its way to me
