Pros

This is the controller i should have bought a couple months ago! It operates on rekordbox 6. Layout is similar to all professional/club pioneer controllers. Great to learn how to dj.

Pitch sliders are same size as the 400. Full sized jog wheels with it's led track position indicator is a nice touch. The jog cutter is cool to play with.

Connections for monitors are rca though unlike the 800 which has balanced output connections through xlrs. The merge fx is awesome, too bad it's only available on this model.

Cons

All they have is unbalanced rca outputs. The'midi' functionality is difficult to get out of. The headphone jack is now loose and transmits audio inconsistently to my headphones. Returned within 2 hours of purchasing.

The only way we can protest the greed of companies is with our wallets. This is not helpful for scratching. The plastic piece inside is known to break.

Quality of materials and finishing are superb, although they are mostly plastic.

Price

For a $600 controller with all these features i think is a great buy for someone like me.

The 800 costs more and has only 2 physical decks.
