The sb2 is great for beginner djing. The only better beginner controller is the ddj 400 which comes with the a full rekordbox dj software key and is design to mimic (somewhat) cdj style equipment.

This is for newbies or professional dj's. Needed something more portable for family events. The software it comes with has good user interface.

This controller is amazing with serato. It utilizes a lot of functions that my old controller didn't. It even comes withserato dj intro.

The only issue i have is the headphone jack. Use the trim knob and level meters to quickly check and adjust the input volume on each channel. My only real issue is the mic control and input.
