This item is far to small for my needs. It cooks well but difficult to keep fore going useing wood. If wood smokes it turms the cheese black and pizza ruined.

Remember build your heat and then when it peaks put in pizza, it will be great.
Use the flue to control temp and more importantly smoke.
If smokes even starts to come out of the door open the chimney flue all the way.
I cook on open fire all the time and understand that coals are your friend.

So i started the fire with a large brick of coals from the campfire i then added wood you understand with the size of the firebox you need six inch long by 34 of an inch in diameter wood

Once the fire reaches max temp and fire is burning let the fire relax and let temp start coming down
